Each puppy is raised with lots of love and special attention and will surely expect the same from their new family. With lots of affection from you they will become a very welcome addition to your home.
The requirements for purchasing a puppy from Prairie Wind English Springers are few but nonetheless very important. These requirements exist for the protection of the you the buyer, the breeder and the puppy. All pups are AKC litter registered and sold with limited registration (not to be used for breeding) to pet homes unless other arrangements have been discussed. Full registration may be granted on an individual basis for an additional fee.
Full Registration: Dogs with Full Registration privileges can compete in all AKC events, and their offspring can be registered with the AKC.
Limited Registration: Dogs with Limited Registration privileges are allowed to compete in all AKC events except Conformation (dog shows). Puppies produced by a dog with Limited Registration are not eligible for AKC registration. Owners should know that the Limited Registration status has no bearing on a dog's potential to be an excellent representative of its breed, a wonderful pet, and a standout participant in most AKC events. When it comes to being a great competitor or just a lifelong friend, a dog with Limited Registration has no limits at all.
Minnesota Law
Minnesota law requires that we provide you with a copy of the Minnesota Law Concerning the Sale of Dogs and Cats. If we will be shipping the puppy to you, you will need to print the document, initial each page, sign the last one at the bottom, and mail it to us. If you will be picking up your puppy from us, you can sign a copy of the document at that time. We will keep the signed copy on file as a record that we've provided it to you.
Puppy Health
To the best of our knowledge our puppies are in good health at the time of sale. We have all our pups go through a veterinarian Well Baby Check before they leave PrairieWind and therefore ensure each one is healthy and up-to-date on all shots and dewormings.
All puppies are guaranteed for one (1) year from date of purchase against non-treatable congenital defects, submissive wetting, or other behavioral problems. We trust you to care for, train and continue to socialize your puppy.
We strongly recommend that you have the puppy examined by your veterinarian within a week or two of purchase or delivery. They will be able to assist you in determinining a deworming/vaccination schedule that is right for your pup. You will have your pup's vet certificate to get their vaccination/deworming record from to assist you.

When you purchase and pick up a puppy from Prairie Wind English Springers you will receive:
AKC registration papers
vaccination/deworming record
Puppy Care Package including a sample bag of Nutri Source puppy food and your new puppy will come wearing a new collar.
Reserving a Puppy
Puppies can be held for a non-refundable deposit of $100. Puppies cannot be held for more than 48 hours without a deposit. The use of www.paypal.com will facilitate this from all over the country(if using this method please send $103 for fees) or we ask that you send a cashiers check or money order from your bank.
Payment
All payments should be in the form of cash and/or a cashier's check, or please use www.paypal.com (please add 3% for fees) for sending deposits and/or full payments across many miles. All it takes is using our e-mail- mrtoods@iw.net -to send us almost instant payments. Puppies cannot be released or shipped until all payments have cleared.
Shipping
Shipping is available to anywhere in the continental United States. All puppies are shipped via Northwest or Delta Airlines from Sioux Falls, S.D.
Puppies cannot be shipped until 8 weeks of age and must be shipped at temperatures between 20 degrees and 85 degrees Ferenheit in all departure and arrival cities (including any layover or transfer cities).
Patience and flexability are very important due to weather and flight conditions. The health and safety of the puppy is of primary importance!!
Shipping costs are typically $300.00 to most US cities and must be paid in full prior to delivery(after July 1st 2008). If you are purchasing a pup over 12-15 pounds the cost will be $375 or more to most US cities or if the weather demands we ship your pup VIP - the cost will be ajusted accordingly. The shipping costs include:

Food and Water dish with supply of both
