Archie (Archer): January 8, 2013 Litter

6/17/13 "Hi, Bill and Audrey! Archie is doing well. He is a very loving, affectionate and energetic 6 month old. We are just completing his 6 week puppy training classes, and when there are no distractions, he can sit, stay, lay down, come, and play fetch. He is as cute as he can be. My kids and I just love him. He is growing so fast. His days begin with a run off leash around the golf course, and in the afternoons a walk on leash around the neighborhood practicing our healing. He loves to run around our back yard, especially when the little girls from next door are playing in their back yard. I hope things are going well for you and that spring has finally sprung there in Slayton. Have a wonderful summer! Sincerely, Vicki DeWitt"

We are just completing his 6 week puppy training classes, and when there are no distractions, he can sit, stay, lay down, come, and play fetch. He is as cute as he can be! My kids and I just love him. His days begin with a run off leash around the golf course, and in the afternoons a walk on leash around the neighborhood practicing our healing. He loves to run around our back yard, especially when the little girls from next door are playing in their back yard. I am attaching a picture of Archie and his half brother, Ollie/Carson. I hope things are going well for you and that spring has finally sprung there in Slayton. Have a wonderful summer! Sincerely, Vicki DeWitt"

Remi (Admiral): January 8, 2013 Litter

7/5/13 "Hello Audrey, Just wanted to give you an update on how Remi was doing. He went to his last set of NonLicensed UKC puppy competitions in June (in July he will actually compete for points) He did one show on June 21 and was awarded Best English Springer Spaniel puppy. Best in Show Puppy went to the cutest, fluffiest Pomeranian puppy. There was a storm during the show that blew most of the tents from their stakes so everyone just went as quickly as possible between wind gusts so I didn't get to speak with the judge to get her comments on him.

Sunday, June 23 Remi was entered in two shows. Again, both NonLicensed UKC puppy competitions. In the first show he won Best English Springer Spaniel puppy and the judge, whom also raised ESP, commented that he prefers them to be happy and not serious. Which Remi hasn't a serious bone in his body, unless he's focused on food. In that show he was given Best in Show puppy. (the Pomeranian wasn't there)

The second show of the day, he won Best English Springer Spaniel puppy. The judge really liked him but commented that if he was going to show seriously he needed to learn how to stand still. (I've sent you a photo of Remi using his charm on her) And I agreed, he does need to learn to stand for exam better but Remi can't be still for anything! He's not even still when he sleeps! Oh, well. I did find a nice performance dog trainer whom is helping us overcome our dilemmas. And, again, the Pomeranian wasn't there guaranteeing Remi could take Best in Show Puppy though all the puppies were incredibly cute! I have no clue how the judge can choose. ;) Hope you enjoy the photos. Cheryl and Remi"

April 27, 13 "Remi was a real trooper this weekend at his first shows. Long days but made great progress. And even better he reconnected with his human friends!"

3/31/13 "Hi Audrey, We finally got some nice shots of Remi. I hope you enjoy them and everyone is doing well up there. Cheryl

Roxy: October 21, 2011 Litter

1/5/12 "Roxy is doing great. She's already gone from 5 pounds to 11 pounds in three weeks and will start her 'puppy socialization class' next week. She has added so much joy to our lives. John and Sue"

5/5/12, "Here are some new photos of Roxy. She is such a good girl. The one with her and I in it is her graduation from puppy school. I cant believe she is 6 months old already. We just Love her. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You ... For her. Sue"

5/7/12, "Hi Audrey, She is the best! She now has a 24x20 play pen we just had installed last week. Her Springer friend Josie comes over and they play for hours. We also just had her spayed on 4/26. She has learned so many things already. She is completely potty trained and crate trained as well. She loves to play with all her toys. She just learned to catch a ball in mid air! She is such a smarty and she knows it. We could not have asked for a more perfect little girl. Not so little ... she is 30 lbs. She was the class clown in school. Her teacher just loved her. Even though every week when Roxy was so excited to come to class she peed on the floor. What a baby.... She is quite the talker now!! She doesn't bark but she expresses herself by trying to say things. I don't know what it is but she has a lot to say especially in the morning. Its adorable. Sue"

7/14/12 "Hi Bill and Audrey, Hope you are having a good summer. This is our Roxy after her first trip to the Beauty shop. We are having so much fun! She is growing up and becoming the best girl. She just wanted you to see how pretty she is and how much she looks like her Mom. We love her so much. Sue and John"

"01/01/2013, Dear Bill and Audrey, We think of you often, visit your website and reflect on the day we picked 'Prairie Wind Princess Roxana' as our puppy. I also remember Audrey advising me when we came to take her home "She's a little dickens!". That was so true. She has turned into such a smart and affectionate member of our family. Dogs, like humans, grow and mature and Roxy has grown into a wonderful dog. Bless You Both, John and Sue"

2-16-13 "Dear Bill & Audrey, I hope all is well in SW Minnesota. Its cold up here but we are having so much fun with our Roxy we hardly notice. She has grown up to be the most wonderful little girl we could ever have. She is about 35 lbs. Her vet says she is an absolute perfect springer, a little on the small side but we are happy with that. She has the most beautiful coat I have ever seem. Believe it or not she hardly even sheds. I see Addie and Captain's latest family ~everyone of them resembles Roxy. Thank you again for the honor of having one of PrairieWind's Beauties! Sue"
